Barcelona has multiple ferry terminals depending on your operator. Baleària and Trasmed use the Drassanes terminal (near the Columbus Monument), while GNV operates from the World Trade Center. Metro, bus and taxi connections are all close by.
Metro: Drassanes (Line 3) — 5 min walk to terminal
All ferries to Palma arrive at the Estación Marítima at Muelle de Poniente (West Quay). One shared terminal for all operators — Baleària, Trasmed and GNV — makes arrivals simple. The cathedral is visible right from the pier.
Bus Line 1 to city centre: €3, every 15–20 min
Taxi to city centre: ca. €10–15 (5–10 min)
To airport: bus ca. 30 min (€3) or taxi ca. €25–30
The quickest option is Metro Line 3 to Drassanes — from there it's a 5-minute walk to the Baleària/Trasmed terminal. For the GNV terminal at the World Trade Center, take bus lines 59 or D20. A taxi from the city centre costs ca. €15–20. By car, follow signs for Port de Barcelona and use the port's multi-storey car park (from ca. €25/day).
Check-in typically opens 2 hours before departure. For vehicles (cars, campervans, motorbikes), arrive at least 90 minutes in advance — vehicle lanes queue at peak summer times. Bring your booking confirmation, passport/ID and vehicle documents. Online check-in via Baleària's website saves time at the terminal.
Parking directly at Palma's Estació Marítima is limited — street parking nearby is pay-and-display. For longer stays, the Parking Moll Vell car park is closest. If you're arriving by ferry with your car, exit follows clear port signage. Bus EMT Line 1 to the city centre departs from just outside the terminal (ca. €3, every 15–20 min).
